Last year we have organized the first edition of the African Wilderness Medicine Course. Since it was a success, the course will return in 2018. It will be an adventurous trip through Botswana by overland trick and with overnight stays in tents. We will visit the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve and the Maghadighadi salt pan. Various outdoor activities (walking safari, kayak tour, boat trip) will be followed by medical workshops and lectures on wilderness and expedition medicine (e.g. envenomations and animal bites, hyperthermia, dehydration, tropical diseases, improvised trauma and wound care). Registration is now open.
