Who is this course for?
This course is designed for adventurous and active physicians, specialised nurses, and physician assistants who are interested in delivering healthcare in resource-limited environments.
Collaboration and booking process
The trip is organised by the tour operator Red Dirt Uganda,
and bookings are also handled through them. The instructors from Outdoor Medicine will provide the medical training during the journey.

Your reservation is confirmed after a €250 deposit.
Red Dirt Uganda is a local tour operator founded by Thies Timmermans, an enthusiastic Dutch cyclist who lived in Uganda for ten years.

Departure and flights
The trip will run with guaranteed departure when a minimum of 10 participants have registered by 1 June 2026.

Because two guides accompany the group, we can split participants during the sporting activities into a more relaxed and a more challenging pace. This makes the trip suitable for almost anyone with a good basic level of fitness.
